Take a trip to Liverpool and visit it’s many attractions

If you are looking for a city in the UK that has a great deal of attractions then Liverpool is going to be a great place to visit. It was recently awarded an important recognition of its culture, as it was given the title the ‘Capital of Culture.’ When you consider the amount of listed buildings at the city has, it is only second to London in the UK. Two of the main attractions in the city include the Metropolitan Cathedral as well as the Anglican Cathedral.

When most people think of Liverpool, they probably think of the city’s most famous export – The Beatles. This famous band are present in many of the city’s attractions including the Tate Liverpool as well as the Merseyside Maritime Museum, which is located at the Albert Docks.

The River Mersey is located in Liverpool and by taking a trip on the Mersey Ferry, you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the city’s waterfront. These are not the only attractions in Liverpool, and if you are interested in football, then it would be wise to check out whether there are any games being played at the city’s two football clubs, Liverpool and Everton. Even if there are no games being played it is possible to get a behind-the-scenes view by taking a tour of the stadiums.

If you are more interested in wildlife then there are two major attractions in the city including the National Wildflower Centre. This is going to be particularly popular for people who enjoy flowers as there is an enormous range of famous British flowers in this centre. A second great nature attraction would be the Knowsley Safari Park which gives you a fantastic opportunity to see some animals which are not native to the UK.
