New luxury lodge takes Crieff Hydro self catering options to a whole new level

Scotland’s premier leisure resort, Crieff Hydro, is happy to announce the opening, in September, of their new self-catering, luxury lodge. Crieff Hydro’s largest lodge has 6 bedrooms, allows for self-catering and is called the Netherleigh.

It also has two separate bathrooms and two ensuites and these allow large groups or families to holiday together in luxury. They may light log-fires, enjoy private gardens and decks, and make their meals in the fabulous kitchen with top of the range cooker.

The property is the newest addition to Crieff Hydro’s self catering collection which provides visitors with options ranging from 5* luxury lodges to 3* value for money chalets.

Its location, just two minutes walk from the main hotel lends itself to providing an atmosphere of peace, tranquillity, rest and relaxation in the heart of Perthshire’s rolling countryside with space both inside and out for the whole family (or families!) to enjoy some down time and some together time with its large communal spaces.

The property, which is expected to be given 5* status by VisitScotland within the coming weeks is split between two floors, each with its own living area, which is perfect for groups looking to create a separate area for different families, or for grandparents who can enjoy step-free access on the ground floor of the lodge.

Thoughtfully designed to offer the ultimate in home from home luxury with attention to detail for practical living, Netherleigh offers plenty of storage spaces for all types of holiday kit, from fishing rods to bikes and walking boots to wetsuits.

Guests can also experience over 60 activities at the resort’s newly launched activity centre, Action Glen, just a short walk away from Netherleigh.  For some adrenaline pumping action, take a fly through the trees with a visit to Aloft!, Crieff Hydro’s brand new aerial assault course, get down and dirty on some quad bikes or scale and dangle at Vertigo, the 14 metre high climbing wall and high ropes challenge.  Netherleigh guests who prefer a slower pace can opt for activities such as clay pigeon shooting, golf, croquet, woodland walks, pony trekking, archery, bowls, or simply curling up by the fire and with good company or a good book!

Perfectly secluded with easy access to all the facilities of the hotel, including the gym, leisure pool, spa, bars and restaurants, Netherleigh is the perfect country escape for get togethers, celebrations, weekends away and holidays.

The lodge offers every home from home convenience and stay away luxury including a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, free wifi, modern kitchen appliances and guests can create their own zen retreat with the spa bathroom and large wet room.

The cottage sleeps up to 10 adults and 4 children and is now available for bookings.  For more information about rates and availability, please contact the resort’s team on 01764 655 555.
