The latest addition to the portfolio of Away Resorts means that they now have 4 holiday parks in total, this new one at Talybont Gwynedd and Mill Rythe park on Hayling Island, Tattershall Lakes park in Lincolnshire and Whitecliff Bay park on the Isle of Wight. This newest park has an enviable beach side location with a back drop of Snowdonia National Park. Away Resorts were launched in 2008 and their first park was Whitecliff, they acquired Tattershall Lakes in 2009 and then Mill Rythe a year later.
Mill Rythe was on the verge of administration when Away Resorts took over, and under the guidance of the new management, and a refurbishment worth £1m, the fortunes of the park were well and truly turned around and only 20 months later it was awarded a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence after consistently receiving 4 stars in customer reviews.
It is clear from the investments that Away Resorts make that they are passionate about giving their customers great, and affordable, British holidays and this strategy is certainly paying off as in 2012 they had a record year with the overall bookings for their then 3 parks rising by 17%.
The new look Away Resorts brochure has just been launched following a re-brand courtesy of Gendall Design, who are the company responsible for the Eden Project’s website design and branding. As well as completely redesigning the Away Resorts website, Gendall has introduced a brand new booking engine that it promises will deliver a much improved and more user friendly experience for visitors.
The recent success of Away Resorts, as well as their revamp, comes hot on the heels of the company being named 81st in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list. This is a collation of the fastest growing private businesses in the UK, and Away Resorts well deserve their place on the list having increased their sales by almost 300% since they launched in 2008.
