Signature Living has changed Liverpool’s hotel industry for the better, creating some of the most luxurious and spacious accommodation in the North West. It’s Lawrence and Katie Kenwright’s passion for preserving and restoring historic buildings that has created a truly unique hotel experience.
The latest offering from the Signature Living company is 30 James Street, which is the former headquarters of the White Star Line RMS Titanic’s port of registry. The vessel’s captain and crew would also have received their orders from this building, and so it is synonymous with the ill-fated ship.
To commemorate the building’s history, Lawrence and Katie Kenwright have transformed the building, which was disused for a number of decades, into the Titanic hotel 30 James Street – Home of the Titanic. Each room within the building offers a unique connection to the vessel, as they are named after a passenger, crew member or link to RMS Titanic and the White Star Line.
It is therefore no surprise that many people are considering making their own history in a building that’s packed full of it, as couples are now booking their wedding in this historic hotel. 30 James Street is also helping people plan their big day by hosting their second wedding fayre on 15th March 2015.
Lawrence Kenwright, 30 James Street’s owner, recently commented on the event: “Following the overwhelming success of our November wedding fayre, we have decided to host another show to help make other brides and grooms plan their special day. It will also provide guests with a chance to explore our Titanic hotel, as the show will be held in our stunning White Star Grand Hall.”
“We welcome people from across the country to join us this March to mix with some of the biggest wedding specialists in the UK, and enjoy an evening on non-stop entertainment. We recommend confirming attendance to our wedding fayre as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as we have already received a huge number of enquiries about the event.”
